Debra Cooper is based in our Manchester office and specialises in advising banks and borrowers on real estate finance matters. Debra also has experience of advising clients on acquisition finance transactions and general corporate lending on both bilateral and syndicated transactions and she is also regularly instructed on cross border transactions.

Experience

• Acting on the acquisition and then the refinancing of the Great Northern Warehouse which involved a large debt quantum, Luxembourg and Jersey elements.

• Acting for a four bank club on the £320 million refinance facility to Bruntwood Group Limited.

• Acting in relation to an investment facility to a Harbert Fund for the purchase of a 15 property portfolio.

• Acting for a two bank club in relation to the funding of a nine development site student accommodation portfolio.

• Acting for the developer of Holiday Inn hotel in Aberdeen in relation to funding provided by a Chinese funder

• Acting for a Chinese borrower on the financing of the purchase of eight residential towers.
